In its tremendously popular Redmi Note series. Xiaomi’s flagship model is the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G. Even though the Pro+ models have been a part of the series for a few generations. The business only made the transition from a cheap smartphone series to a premium one with the Redmi Note 12 Pro+.
The most costly Redmi phone to date, the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G, kicks things up a notch. What then is the benefit of this additional premium? There are several high-end features included with the phone. On a Redmi series handset with IP68 ingress certification and Gorilla Glass Victus protection, a curved display makes its debut. With a charger included in the package, you can enjoy the same lightning-fast 120W charging as previously with the new 200MP Samsung ISOCELL HP3 primary camera.
The cherry on top of all that is a customized MediaTek Dimensity 7200-Ultra with an upgraded array of memory and storage choices. With 512GB UFS 3.1 being the maximum capacity and starting at 256GB.
Starting at INR 31,999, the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G costs INR 4000 more than the Redmi Note 12 Pro+ 5G and an incredible INR 11,000 more than the Redmi Note 11 Pro+ 5G. Which was released just two years prior. That’s a significant premium, but is it warranted? Let’s investigate.

The Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G arrives with Xiaomi’s redesigned Redmi series packaging, which has an all-red color scheme and large lettering on the front in place of the prior packaging’s picture of the phones.
We receive the phone, a 120W charger, a cord, and a case in our India-specific unit. The transparent design of the soft silicone casing is replaced with an all-black hue. You won’t experience the same yellowing as you would with earlier transparent cases since this material is opaque.
It has a very huge cutout around the camera at the top. Which isn’t very protective and exposes way too much of the phone for simply cosmetic purposes. To offer even more protection, we advise purchasing an aftermarket case.
